Redesign of the Obesity pages and the launch of Novo Nordisk GLP-1 Wegovy® pill.
Working with client Novo Nordisk, makers of Ozempic® and Wegovy®, this project needed to prepare for the launch of the Wegovy® pill. The first step was elevating the obesity section of the NovoCare website to make it competitive in the booming GLP-1 market.
HOW IT WORKED.
The biggest shift was reframing the entire journey through the consumer's lens.
We looked to beauty and fashion for inspiration, crafting benefit-driven headlines with body copy that acknowledged the complexity of the healthcare system — but repackaged it as a positive path to a healthier self. Modern e-commerce informed dedicated product pages that gave consumers a true shopping experience.
With prescriptions and payment as the biggest barriers to entry, we stripped back the friction — making information clear and accessible through smart, responsive design.
We moved away from stock imagery in favor of considered, hopeful visuals, and made the medication itself the hero — developing patterns and animations of the pills and pens for a modern, social-first aesthetic.
THE TASK.
With compound GLP-1s and FDA-approved competitors flooding the market, Novo Nordisk, makers of Wegovy® and Ozempic®, needed to elevate their support site and pharmacy platform, NovoCare.
The brief centered on the "consumerization of health," calling for a concept that honored the sensitivity of the weight loss journey, navigated the complexity of insurance and self-pay options, and celebrated the transformative benefits of the medication.
The relaunch was timed to coincide with the highly anticipated launch of the Wegovy® pill.
THE RESULT.
The oral Wegovy® launch in early 2026 was one of pharma's biggest success stories — reaching 3,000 patients in week one and surging 500% the week after. With pricing starting as low as $25/month, our job was to make sure that clarity was front and center. By stripping back the complexity, NovoCare gave patients the confidence to take that first step.
