My name is Bec, and I am a writer based in New York. In 2007 I traded in my boy band teen idol stripes earned as Entertainment Editor at Australian Dolly magazine, for the opportunity to freelance in the US, reporting on lifestyle and social trends, entertainment, beauty fads, movements in the celebrity world, as well as food and travel. These assignments have led to interviews with inspirational people striving to make a difference, seen me go undercover as a “Wingwoman”, brave the exclusive New York dating scene (a number of times), source Brooklyn's best bagels, travel to Guatemala and Iceland, and awkwardly strip down nude to follow a trend.
